Halfaya Oilfield is an important large-scale oilfield for Iraq which located in the south-east Maysan Province. The surveillance project used Uniview unified solution with high-definition IP cameras which embedded optical port transmission technology. It means the optical transmission could be realized by embedded optical modules which directly connect to fiber. The solution reduced system cost and simplified construction. Meanwhile, it reduced the hidden malfunction of system and enhanced the overall stability.
