Hong Kong Transport Department used Uniview unified IP surveillance solution for traffic monitoring. In the solution, advanced carrier-class NGN structure was applied which ensured the reliability during transmission. Through high-definition and low delay image capture and transmission system, Hong Kong citizens could be informed of the traffic conditions on the Internet and choose proper route. More importantly, Hong Kong Transport Department could effectively provide dealing plans for various emergencies.
