Sinopec is one of China’s largest enterprises that integrate energy and chemical industry. It is also the biggest petrochemical product manufacturer and the second biggest crude producer in China. In this project, Uniview offers IP monitoring solution to integrate the existing television system (for production monitoring) and the new IP security monitoring system which is more than 280 sets of industrial sub-systems from 27 Sinopec refineries through our advanced system architecture. Considering limited network bandwidths, each branch deploys a Uniview encoder with storage to store monitored images locally and fully use network resources of subordinate companies of Sinopec. Compared with the original monitoring system, the IP monitoring solution of Uniview offers different access ways, implements digital compatibility and makes full use of old equipments.
